This is nice, thanks for posting. Based on experience, money really is not the main motivation. It is nice to receive a good sum every pay day but still it boils down to whether or not you like what you are doing.
If I got it correctly, you will feel this longing for ‘Challenge, Mastery, and Making a Contribution’ only when the issue of earning enough is addressed. How much is enough, anyway?

Enough is arbitrary, depends on what you need. But then there’s also the “industry standard” wage
@Sean – i soo agree with you! Imagine getting paid for doing something you love?
